The captains who take you out learned these waters from their fathers, and they know where to go by season, wind and tide — which, in the end, is what you’re really hiring. We offer three ways to go fishing, depending on what you’re after, and all three are priced per boat, not per person: the group decides without doing awkward math.
Mini fishing: the family outing
Shoreline and calm-water fishing, on a boat for small groups. It currently costs from 5,500 mxn per boat. Ideal with kids, or for anyone who’s never held a rod: the captain teaches, helps, celebrates your first catch with you, and doesn’t mind explaining five times. Short outings, protected waters, zero pressure. It is, honestly, one of the best first sea experiences you can give a kid.
Eco tour + fishing: the best of both worlds
Combines the lagoon ride and its landscapes with real fishing time. It currently costs from 7,000 mxn per boat. It’s the option for groups where not everyone fishes: some cast lines, others watch birds — the lagoon sits inside the Yum Balam protected area and birds abound —, and everyone comes back happy. The perfect plan when the group has one enthusiastic angler and three skeptical companions.
Deep-sea fishing: the serious one
Open water, heavier gear, and the big species of the zone. It currently costs from 18,000 mxn per boat. It’s for those who already know what they’re after — or want to find out with a captain who’s spent his whole life on these waters and treats the sea with the respect of someone who lives off it. Longer day, open sea, and the kind of stories nobody believes later.
What’s included?
Boat, captain, fishing gear, and the local expertise of knowing WHERE to go by season and wind — the data no app carries. What you catch, depending on species and current regulations, comes home with you or goes back to the sea: here we fish by the rules of a protected area, and that’s part of the deal with the sea that feeds us.

What to bring
Hat, sunglasses, biodegradable sunscreen, light long-sleeve clothing, water and — for the open-water version — a seasickness pill if you need one. Enthusiasm is included; patience is supplied by the sea.
Quick questions
Do I need experience? For mini fishing and the eco tour, none. For deep-sea it helps, but the captain tunes the day to your level.
Can kids come? Yes, especially on mini fishing — it’s their format. Write with ages and we’ll confirm the plan.
What if the weather won’t allow it? The captain decides for safety, and if the sea says no, we move the date with you. The sea rules; we coordinate.
Which one do I pick?
