Tips for the day
Leave with breakfast done. Bring cash for road cravings, sunscreen, a hat and comfortable shoes — you’ll walk more than you think, and gladly. Water, always water: inland Yucatán is unforgiving. Camera fully charged: between the pyramid, the cenotes and the pink water, you’ll run out of roll.

Una zona arqueológica rodeada de selva donde todavía puedes SUBIR a la gran Acrópolis — cada vez quedan menos sitios donde eso se permite, y la vista de 360 grados sobre la selva se queda contigo para siempre. Se combina con chapuzón en cenote, que después del calor de las piedras es gloria pura.
Río Lagartos y Ek Balam. La costa norte de Yucatán: paseo en lancha entre manglares con flamencos y cocodrilos, la famosa agua rosada de las salineras de Las Coloradas, y las ruinas de Ek Balam en el mismo día. Consejos para el día
Sal con desayuno hecho. Lleva efectivo para antojos del camino, bloqueador, sombrero y zapato cómodo — vas a caminar más de lo que crees, y con gusto. Y agua, siempre agua: el interior de la península no perdona. La cámara con batería llena: entre la pirámide, los cenotes y el agua rosada, el carrete se acaba.
